Came in to say Project X. Not a great movie at all but it was during A time where drugs n shyt was really taking off before being a junkie was cool. Then it became cool.

American Pie, Bring It On and High School Music had a big influence on other films as well but I don't know if I'd say 'iconic' yet.

yeah and I think teens are just so lame nowadays you can't make the same type of movies anymore. a "realistic" teen movie nowadays would be about either a social media whore who's head is always buried in her phone or some video-game addicted geek who never leaves his room and jerks off to anime cartoons
