Nutty Professor 2 was the first movie I remember actively not liking when it first came out.

As soon as I sat down, I knew this was ass
I had to pretend like I loved it though because my mom took a day off work to watch it with me in theaters

I rented that as a kid and I couldn't even finish it. It was so stupid. Felt like a kick in the dikk after watching Rumble in the Bronx, Supercop and Police Story
I have however grown an appreciation for the anime it was based on.

I could not STAND this movie when I was a little kid and the fact that a lot of other kids liked it made me hate it that much more.
I hated the characters, I hated the plot, I hated the dialogue, I hated the way that furry plush toy dragon looked, I hated the song, I even hated the title cause it sounded pretentious and made me think of a bad dream that never ends.
(edit: my wife just caught me playing the preview and said she hated it as a little kid too)
My mom loved this movie. I hated it. Don't even know why. Just remember passionately hating it and even now as soon as I hear the name I automatically hit the

And for the record, my contribution is this shyt.
I SWEAR non of the pre release trailers let on that the movie was about elemental kung fu kangaroos. When we got out of the movie, I tried to pay my pops back for the tickets in allowance/chore money I had saved because I felt like it was a waste of both our time. We already saw Mortal Kombat: Annihilation in theaters, but we at least had fun clowning on it.
man i wanted to see this shyt so bad as a kid it hurt,,,shyt only came on showtime which my parents never Purchased .
Couple of years later i Finally got the DVD on Netflix ,,, i was like
what a fukking let down, i still feel the pain today

X-men 3 was my first time not liking a movie in theaters. Even as a kid, I knew something was wrong and that this movie wasn’t seeing the greatness of the 90s cartoon.

That movie is even more trash after reading the OG stories in the comics.
Watering down the Dark Phoenix
Treating Colossus, Kitty, Angel, Iceman, and especially Storm like an afterthought
No Nightcrawler
No Hellfire Club
Making Wolverine bigger than the team
Dumbing down Cyclops when him and Jean are who the whole story was really about.
I get HEATED every time I even think about that trash movie.
Beast was the only part of the movie they didn’t completely mess up.
