I don't actually think we're that far away. Getting a good IOL, DB and pass rusher should get us right back in contention. Acquiring 3 impact players across the draft and FA in an offseason is not an impossible task. Upgrading QB, RT, and extra DB is a luxury not necessity.

don’t think that applies to us tho. We hit the SB last year without a world beater at QB and lost our DROY for the entire season as well as missing key offensive weapons throughout the year. I think just getting a full year of Deebo, Aiyuk, Mostert and Bosa instantly puts us back in contention even if we run it back with Jimmy.

And this may be a controversial statement but that Deebo/Aiyuk combo to me is better than Sanders.

Yea he got more experience. But with a healthy Jimmy back there a steady Oline, Kittles and Reed, and Mostart cooking?

Them 2 dudes gonna be nightmares for teams.... and THEN you have Bourne that people gonna sleep on cuz the other guys are the main threats so he may pop one off

We got there but can we win one? I feel when you don’t have that franchise guy you only fo as far as a super bowl birth, not a win. But I’m ok with not having a world beater but need a guy who is clutch because in the playoffs you’ll need to be clutch. I don’t think Jimmy is that guy but I won’t be crying if he’s brought back.

yeah Jimmy is injury prone your best trait is your availability and he did not look good in that cardinals game and he was healthy

True..... but we gotta look at that initial injury

Remember, he was in the pocket, it collapsed and he was down on one knee.

Then that Jets player came out of no where and hit him landing and fukking up his ankle in the first place.

Now if that would’ve been any of the other more MAINSTREAM QBs, not only would that hit been a penalty, probably a huge fine and ejection
