As bad as this loss is. When CMC had gotten hurt I had the expectation we would be somewhere around .500 first 10 games of the season.
With that said there are some troubling things that success has covered up.
1) Kyle does not adjust. He forces his gameplan and if it works great and of it doesn't, he doesn't care. Kyle, every team in the NFL has at least some of your concepts and plays in their playbook. Several of your proteges and staff members are head coaches and offensive coordinators.
The other thing too is, Shanny is taking advantage of Brock and drawing plays where Brock HAS to be elite to make some of those throws. Like some of those plays are mind-bogglingly obtuse.
2) Defense is not great but the special teams is unacceptable.
3) We should have traded Aiyuk once the offer got past a certain point in terms of negotiations though we really should've paid him a year earlier when WR salaries were not so bad.
4) Neglecting offensive line these past 2 years is unacceptable. You don't win SB with an aging left tackle and outside of Puni every other lineman needs to be replaced.

Why risk the contract we all know they're going to pay out? If we don't think we're making the playoffs then try to get in the top 10 picks.
An injury won't stop a QB's contract like it will in the other positions. Dak got paid twice after his leg exploded.
Nah, he needs to play. I'd say the same about any healthy player. Sit for what? Play his ass.

This season is karma for firing Steve Wilks. I quite honestly think they deserve the shyt. They give the job to a sorry ass pale face and even get the knuckle dragging cave beast assistance. That's what these cacs do. They give each other best opportunity to succeed. But the shyt doesn't work out half the time.
