You said people blame Kyle because of the O is underperforming in the redzone and then talked about the defense and ST being bad. My point is that Shanny ain't blameless on those units being the way they are. He's the HC and he makes the calls on those as well. Kinda funny how now you are just talking about the defense and not ST

We were due for a down season. We've been the 2nd most successful team in the league over the past 5 years. Can't expect to sustain that level of excellence every year. Holdouts and injuries just came for us this season. It is what it is. Gotta prune the tree of dead leaves and retool some key units.
Brock + CMC + Jauan + Aiyuk + Pearsall is very solid offensive unit moving forward as long as we fukkin fix the OL. I want 2 out of the top 3 picks next year to be OL.
Fred + Bosa + Demo + Greenlaw (assuming he returns to pre-injury form) is a very solid defensive core. Coming back next year fully healthy will have us back in top form.
Season isn't over but we should be lowering expectations. Going to 4 of the past 5 NFC Championship Games gives Shanny a mulligan on this year to me.

RT, C and LG gotta be priority 1, 2 & 3 in the offseason.
We gotta remember Kyles despises playing rookies so he's gonna redshirt anyone we draft unless there's an injury that forces him to put a draftee in there (it's why Puni got a chance to prove himself). So we gotta address all these positions ASAP because changes will take time. I expect Feliciano to get a big role next year.

Yeah it's telling that the only team who has been better than us in this era has their elite DC refusing HC offers and staying in the role.

You can definitely blame him for ST being terrible too.... but the resume is 2 Super Bowls and 2 NFC Title Games in the last 5 years, everyone always runs in here saying he should be fired, then they get mad at me when I say it's not happening

If McKivitz is still starting next year I'm not watching a single game. We need to add 2 impact day 1 starters on the OL, either through the draft of FA.
You said it yourself, we are not a championship team and we are losing 1 more year into our "win now" window. So I have no clue why you'd expect people to be fine with a mediocre season were the best we can hope for is our division being dogshyt so we can get a WC spot before getting raped by a legit good team in the post season
Never said people should be fine, but this game win or lose shouldn’t change one’s opinion. We were going to have trouble this year. Window IMO closed when we lost the SB. Will be officially closed when Brock gets that deal.
I’m just a fan that has seen the dark days. This is mild.
