I would never in life pay over 500 for a used tv off a stranger. Especially an older oled model. Maybe an open box one certified by store tech but still. Some appliances you just don’t buy used and TVs are one for them imo

Almost caved in buying a used LG C9 but that was before I learned about burn-in. Glad I didn't :whew:

Yes you wouldn't but plenty of people would and do, some people like nice shyt without paying the ticket price

I take care of my shyt, I pull up the burn-in test to show its fine and a sale is made... it is what it is

That TV can't do Dolby Vision at 120fps for whatever that's worth.

All the TV's I narrowed my search to had it's "issues". I really wanted an OLED but the thought of having to worry about burn-in daily after grinding a full day on 2K or Madden, or even watching a full day of football isn't ideal for me. Loved the QLED's brightness in person but after further research their game mode takes a hit in image quality. Went the bang for your buck route as I'd get getting a quality TV AND both consoles for the price of a 65" inch LG CX.

Turn the TV off between games. Run the panel clear when you're done. Turn the TV off if you pause for more than a minute. No burn in. People using fear of burn in as an excuse is old. All you have to do is not be stupid.

Any recommendations in here that come with a good response rate? I like to play competitively so need something that responds quickly.

Not gonna lie bruhs I got the Ps5 coming but I don’t want to break the bank on new TVs when I know they gonna have even better ones once they get a chance to have the new gen consoles for awhile..

I am looking for a tv for the bedroom. I am torn between the CX or Q90T. My girlfriend likes to keep the tv on at night. Should I go with Q90? I recently bought the CX for the living room.
