If you already got a C9 unless the CX is for another room or you going up a size or 2 that's not a worthwhile upgrade. At least in my experience selling an old TV to help fund a new one doesn't work out so well. It's part of the reason I'm still holding on to my C7. I got the Best Buy extended warranty though so my last year I might leave CNN or something playing on it for months to burn it in so I can get the newest TV they offer in 2023.

Thats what i've been doing, starting from the 6 series, selling, rolling that into the next

I could never move a TV like that for anything reasonable round here. My C7 I'd be lucky to get $600-$700 for it. Cost me $1500 with the warranty. On top of the fact that other than HDMI 2.1 I'll basically be getting the same set I have.

I like TCL alright but I hate their wide stands. Why can’t they put the stand in the middle like some Sonys I have seen? Them wide joints don’t fit my current stand.

When y’all connect these next gen systems, are y’all going HDMI from system to tv then hdmi tv to receiver?

I got a Yamaha rx-685 but not sure with this 2.1 hdmi shyt if I’ll throttle anything or fukk up sound by wiring it one way vs the other

Yeah and ???

it’s not like it’s a pair of shoes :mjlol:

it’s a piece of technology mounted on my wall, no burn in or any other issues

It’s worse. It’s a used TV. :mjlol: Who knows what underlying issues could be at hand pass a few minutes of display in your house
