However I always salute young brehs like @Rozay Oro who go back and educate themselves on older rappers. :salute:

cosign b. that's why i'm a little confused that some dudes are up in here criticizing him for making this thread. bro i'm ecstatic that a young dude would even seek out the knowledge on a niche artist who precedes his generation. i don't wanna do anything to discourage that from happening on the coli. by all means ask away and let's have open discourse

like lemme find a thread on here one day that says: "school me on the following '88 artists: tuff crew, k9 posse and super lover cee and casanova rud"

nikka i'd lose my shyt like :ohlawd:

Like fam said earlier, "You'll neva understand" :wow:

One of the 3 songs I like from that album. Every beat is dope but horrorcore is boring.
bytch Gets No Love
Welfare Love
Side Line

Is it me or he fits too many cyllables in a bar? At least in this album

man I remember going to the music stores w/ the elitist heads just to look at music and talk about it.

shyt is different now...
...I dont think being a hip hop head is really a thing anymore to the young cats.
They just consume whatevers poppin.
Being a hip hop head before like 2008 was difficult logistically.

Nowadays I can text my lil brother who's 1000 miles away, tell him to listen to On The Real by Nas Cormega and Screwball(I forget), he can look it up on youtube then tell me he hates it within 6 minutes.

The stuff I had to do to find an OG version of On The Real in 2003 :wow:

The Wrong Side of the Tracks

Critical Beatdown is a classic.

Ced Gee on the production. :whew:

That off-beat, confident swag that Keith was a master of on the mic. :whoo:

My personal #1GOAT album.

Let us not forget that they were the first group to rap WITHOUT RHYMING on a hip-hop track.......

Still know all the words to this joint from start to finish 30 years later!!.....and this one, too....
