also, you see a lot of indy artists now putting out an album a month. Keith was the first to start that wave too. at one point he was the most successful indy artist in the world, right after Dr. Octogon. he still stays busy releasing material and dude is damn near 60.

Flee Lord. In 2020 he dropped an album EACH month. All with FIRE production! Pete Rock, 38 Spesh, Havoc, Buckwild, DJ Shay, eto, and more produced his albums. ALL high quality mixed and mastered no shoddy work! How did you miss that? That run saw him increase his listeners 5 fold and he said he made pretty good bread off of them. Then the next year Papoose did it, naming each album after its respective month. Papoose had some big name producers and features on those tapes. Although his were mostly 16-25 min EP’s they were still 6-9 songs per. Flee Lord’s were EP length too but all had at least 10 songs. 23-28 minutes run time. There are others who did it too but those were the most notable.
