I consider the south like Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, etc... coastal VA does not feel like the South at all.

deep South but other than Maryland and Dc anything below the mason Dixon is considered the south

DJ premier is from Houston, but spent his entire career in Brooklyn. He's definitely east coast. That'd be like the south claiming Kanye cuz he was born in Atlanta.

I pick the east coast and it's not even close IMO.

Dj premier was born and raised here. It's different than Kanye. Kanye spent his entire life in Chicago.
