Are we talking aboout technology or technology products because that's 2 different things :patrice:

iPod may not have had the greatest run (though that's debatable) but the technology (iPhone) is clearly still being used.

they need a smartphone version of this.. at least a phone with a slide out keyboard :ahh:

I agree. I kind of miss the days of 2000s flip/combo phone designs. In good hands it can work today. Especially when you consider phones have become full blown personal computers and gaming devices. They deserve computing interfaces like the Sidekick and the Blackberries attempted.

Limewire
Kazza
Napster

Napster, yes. It lasted about a year? However it made way for kazaa and limewire that lasted about 5 years.

Napster was a cannon to the music industry but Kazaa and Limewire were a napalm to everything online:wow: Music, video games, movies, software apps, and personal info too.

naw pagers were popular for a good 15 years
Mainstream? Nah.

Doctors and such were on it before and after.

The wider use it only lasted for a few years once cellphones became more affordable to more people.

No one even mentions pagers anymore. Answering machines still are fondly remembered.
