But if we drafted Rodgers and Alex Smith went some where else.

People would be looking at Alex Smith differently and Rodgers probably would’ve became a bum

I've been about the McCarthy's rise as a top 10 pick the past month. Michigan was one of the few teams I saw semi regularly the last 2 years and he was pedestrian as all hell as a passer and I don't see his rushing ability translating all that well in the pros. Unless dude learns how to throw anything that isn't a bullet pass, I have no clue how the hell he's supposed to be a starter.

At least as a 2nd or 3rd rounder you can redshirt him and let him develop some. But if he's supposed to play meaningful snaps this coming season...I just don't see it, specially once there's tape on him and defenses can feast on what he struggles with.

Yeah, every game I saw him in, he was just a cog in the offense, I didn't see anything elite about him.

I ain't mad because all that does is help us. They'll make a run on defensive players amd we might get a really good receiver or maybe trade up next round and pick up a lineman from one of the teams that made a reach so that they can add more picks.

Yeah, every game I saw him in, he was just a cog in the offense, I didn't see anything elite about him.

I’m give credit to the few that came in as rookies and became solid players down the road.

But I think most guys need to sit a little.

Cuz they need about 3 years to really find their groove.

Yeah, QBs sitting was a real thing until maybe Payton came in the league, now teams are impatient, mainly because coaches jobs are tied to the QB

Facts…. I get a lot of money is invested in them and jobs be on the line. But I feel that’s the one role teams gotta learn you can’t rush. You gotta nurture organically
