Wilks was a scapegoat. Schneider is a good and very deserved firing.

Schneider had to go as we had the worst special teams in the league by far. Even if he wasn't the main problem you can't be the wost and ST losing you games...and keep your job.
I agree...it was deserved

Saquon went to a team that made their QB the highest paid player in the league. Tyreek went to a team that made their QB the 3rd highest paid player in the league. We'll be alright even if we pay Purdy. We don't need to add a high-dollar premium piece. We need better coaching on defense and OL talent. It's not like if we don't pay Purdy and bring in some journeyman QB off the reject pile we're gonna sign a star WR or RB. We have to follow the Lions and Vikings approach and draft well.

Your rebuttal examples still prove me right in a hard cap scenario. It's just the players you're saying weren't the consequence of their new team. Tyreek got paid prior to Tua's contract, so the decision to pay Tua would've never affected him in the same way that it would with Pat's renewal, but because of Tua's contract, Miami going to be 27th in cap space going into 2025 with no cap space to actually change their team in free agency. Free agency is a benefit to them being in Florida and they can't use it because of Tua's cap number.

The Eagles made hard choices to make Saquon work. He quite literally got paid with Hassan Reddikk's contract. The cost of Jalen's contract was their defensive vets from his Super Bowl year because now half of their starting defense are on their rookie deals and the rest are a handful of low cost vet additions plus Slay. Their Super Bowl run team was literally the opposite where the rookie deals were on the offensive side of the ball outside of Kelce and AJ. The Eagles life is about to start getting very difficult when they need to start dealing with those defensive starters renewals because of Jalen's contract. They can maybe extend one, maybe two, of those cats on rookie deals.

The bolded is why I think we'll forever be on opposite side of thinking with this. It seems like you think the team will avoid this trap because you believe a HC that normally doesn't like to coach up or play non-QB rookies and a GM who has been hit or miss at best in the draft, more miss than hit in the first three rounds, could just replicate the best versions of coaching up and drafting with the Lions and Vikings. To me, why would I think they could do something when they haven't demonstrated it before? We can be on opposite sides of it and that's fine by me.

TYRONE GA!
Lions fan coming in peace again lol.

So is this the end? You guys have the cap space to keep it pushing but man...re-signing Aiyuk was a fukk up. Pearsall looks legit and this draft has a lot of good WRs (again). I wouldn't resign Deebo either.

Deebo's contract can be voided in 2026. Cap hit next season is 15.8....His dead cap is 31 million :francis:

I have the vibe the Jags will offer Robert Saleh the head coaching job. The Colts just fired Gus Bradley, he would be my 2nd choice if we can't get Saleh.

Also glad Klay Kubiak will be the co-offensive coordinator. Offense is about to be so much more balanced.

Holy shyt!

This bytch ass dude just took a shot at all of us on both sides of the Fire/Keep Kyle argument

Sorry but he's dropping science right now. You see this in this thread. Soon as you complain about Kyle, someone says exactly that.

So the plan is just keep him because those are the only types of coaches the Niners can get? How the fukk did they get Kyle then? :mjlol:

I would be in total shock if a Jihad passed on their own. This is the perfect opportunity for them to unite and he can proudly wear his Lebanon flag. Jets were bytches for firing him for that.

Bradley is played out. Ulbrich is my pick.
