Waiting until around training camp to finalize extensions is just how this FO does business
There’s pros and cons to it, and I think they could’ve done better anticipating the WR market exploding. I still think a deal will get done but they should’ve broke the timing precedent for Aiyuk

There's literally no pros to doing that. It's not like you save money by waiting
You either negotiate in good faith or drag your feet. The result is, either sign the guy or risk him holding out or lose him either by trade or free agency. Football is the one sport I can't blame a player for getting paid, the careers are short and you only have one or 2 opportunities to make that kind of money and it's not guaranteed for the majority of players. Once your career is over that opportunity doesn't come again for 99% of an already 1% of athletes. Baseball and Basketball have that figured out already, there's not much to be had in negotiations, it's already set.

Brent Jones and Jerry Rice are legendary Niners and played the game. So crazy how they are retarded AF when it comes to Kyle.
Hands down this was the worst WR core probably in KC history. Any great coach would have taken advantage . Especially when the defense made multiple turnovers and sacks.

Defense did a better job second SB. Got them turnovers and sacks. They literally could do nothing else. Any other team would have capitalized offensively.
