This may or may not be prep for something I've got cooking for later today or later this week so I wanted to test the temperature of the film room by determining what makes a good christmas movie in your eyes? Is it something subversive like the Bad Santa or Kiss Kiss Bang Bang or something heartwearming like A Christmas Story or It's a Wonderful Life (which is a dark movie when you think about it)?
I firmly believe there are several ways to look at a Christmas movie and they all don't have to involve people unwrapping presents, but just something based around the holiday. So what do you normally watch around this time since it's December 1st and we're 24 days away? Are you the more sentimental type, the cynical type, or the anti-establishment anti-commercial type? Or do you prefer more religious flavor?
