this is true, anybody saying chris wasnt a good thinker wasnt into the show that much, if marlo wanted any advice outside of prop joe he always went to chris, he never went to monk or snoop about anything regarding how to handle issues in the streets.

marlo was more of a strategist type nikka that made his moves according to how others made theirs, avon was the total opposite which is why his crew fell so quick.


avon wanted to go after omar while marlo wated for omar to come to him, and it ended up paying off.

And Avon had Omar with a bullet in his ass begging the police for a ticket out of town


How did Chris strategy regarding Omar really play out, the whole saga turned Omar into a super hero and made them forget about Marlo, thats why Marlo was so angry in the jail cell having the crown and his legacy was all that mattered to him, and the Omar battle just made team Marlo look weak around......................Scuffling and scrabbling off of one nikka, look how easy it was for Joe to get Omar also.......................There was levels to this shyt brehs, and the show showed that

Slim Charles never had Marlo's crew on the ropes. They just got the drop on them one time. Charles had Cutty helping him during season 3 until Cutty retired, and even then Avon kept hiring out of organization help because his nikkas kept getting clipped off. And this is even before Marlo's organization expanded. This was before Mike, O-Dogg, and others came on and were trained by Marlo and Snoop.

Slim Charles was scared of Marlo and his crew, that's why he adviced Bodie to leave him be. Prop Joe had to use Marlo's muscle to get rid of NY nikkas taking over their turf, and Slim Charles was his muscle then. Charles was a shooter but he wasn't anywhere near the level of Marlo's crew.

Nikka Marlo knew who was stacking them bodies for Avon, how many times did Marlo try to get Slim over to his team and his side, post Avon Slim was the only nikka Marlo feared and respected, you see how Slim addressed Marlo as youngin on many occasion and he aint do shyt, Marlo seen Slim as the last of hitters, the last of the mohicans..................................

People always forget they had a lot of luck on their side. They were fukking up and talking on cell phones early on before Marlo was under Prop Joe's tutelage. The cops could've busted them easy in their infancy, but the CID was dysfunctional at the time and wouldn't get an investigation going. They had that idiot Maramo or whoever in charge refusing to do wiretaps.

Avon's crew was weak because Avon and a lot of them were locked up or had been killed and Stringer wasn't interested in going to war over corners.

Avon's team would've eventually crushed him once they tooled up and got more soldiers on their payroll. Remember Slim Charles and them had the drop Marlo, Chris, and Snoop outside the rim shop but the cops busted Avon's spot before he could give the okay. That would've been it for them.

They were ruthless and organized, but they had a lot of circumstances go right for them.

There was plenty of luck involved with the show, people can't get selective and slight Marlo just cause, him wiling to square off with anyone from cop to gangsta with no fukks has to be respected..........................

Marlo was a certified hitter, just as his start when hey said his wrap sheet was a mile long, the bodies he caught before the show, how Marlo squared off with the cops with little fukk, Marlo basically squared off with everyone on the show, the cops(herc and carver), Avon, stringer, and Joe. You say the wrong thing around Marlo and you were dead. Thats a great thing about the show, the way the went about things without saying, all those bodies Chris put in for Marlo and he still was scared to death of Marlo, he was certifiable...................
