Marlo was quietly getting his money and muscle up. Marlo was NOT reckless and stupid. He had the territory around them towers for a while, EVEN when the towers was selling dog shyt before string dumb ass gave Joe A FEW towers -BUT he never tried to take the towers or ANY barksdale territory. He was gettin in where he fit. Like any young lion he wanted the crown but he knew he couldn't just take it, it had to be HIS time. Avon had to get real weak before he could make a move. With string running shyt, he saw a lot of weakness.. especially after that p*ssy ass meeting string set up AFTER marlo whooped his crews ass

Marlo didn't break NO RULES OF THE GAME. String and joe and all them co-op nikkas was breakin the rules. RIVALS clickin up and sharing dope and territory is NOT NORMAL. nikkas NOT taking and defending territory is NOT NORMAL. nikkas selling work in SANCTIONED LEGAL ZONES?! Come on breh

He was low key the ring leader of the whole thing.. Even ahead of Daniels...Take away Season 5 which was totally out of his character, dude was always making the right chess moves...

Of course freeman was SMARTER .. however .. without mcnulty everyone would have had no initiative to shut down the drug game of barksdale or even touch marlo.

They all acted like as long as it didn't mess up their normal jobs or spike their numbers they wouldn't care about making a difference.

Mcnulty wanted to make a difference. Freeman was a broken man at first ... u could tell he use to care but mcnulty got his heart back in get thsoe criminals off the street.

If we sit here and act like without mcnulty the police owuld have stopped barksdale or stanfield organizations ... we're lying to our self.

Mcnulty also realized that police red tape caused crime from being solved ... he did what had to be done to get shyt done.

Mcnulty sat in court in a case he wasn't involved in and watch the drug dealesr have a sweet ole time beating the system and he said .. fukk dat ... i dont care if i get fired

And Lester is basically the brains behind taking down both avon and Marlo and he damn near took out the greek. He brought down the Greek whole operation, made his right hand man leave town and took down his top hitters. The Greek had to switch his whole shyt up. The way Lester cracked that clock code was

And then in Season 3 you fully understood that Avon was the boss when he got out of jail.
He basically pushed String out of all the street side of the operation and replaced him with
Slim Charles as 2nd in command. nikka was sonning Stringer ruthlessly in season 3

He wasn't done, he still had his name, he only had to finish the rest of his 10 year sentence, he still ran the jails, and he still had the connect, something Stringer didnt even have as much as he/them Co-op nikkas kissed Joe's ass..........


You dumb nikka, no point in schooling you on this Wire shyt, I must of watch the series at least 200 times back to back to back to back at one point in time,......................
