The main goal for Alina at the start of the volume was for her to avoid overtime and attend the Centennial Festival. Which is a significant goal for her, but she had to work overtime her previous years. Though even before the bonus period of adventurers started, there were rumors of getting a Dia skill, which we know is significant in this story. Though even finding out where the rumors started it wasn't a kind of thing that would just magically go away. Sadly, Alina had to deal with and just hoped it died down.

A big deal in this volume was how can Jade improve himself. Obviously, Dia skills are superior to Sigurth skills. Though an interesting idea for him is to combine them, but we quickly see how Lululee reacts to that conventional norms say that is a bad idea. Though a more interesting conversation with Shelley with the core from Silha and that itself contains many Dia sigils, which make sense given he used multiple Dia skills at once. Though the real question is: Why did he only use 3? Jade's guess is that the amount depended on the number of souls he ate.

We got an introduction to the Four Saints. The founders of each of them are who saved the continent from monsters, and they founded the Guild. They were the Swordmaster, Holy Mother, Guardian and Sage. Few concerns here are they had no idea about the Dark Gods and Secret Quests. Even more so the Sage was absent. The concern is how dependable are they? Do they hold these ranks on bloodline alone? Although Glen being an apprentice of the sword master at this gives us to know that he has the skills to back it up. As we know, Glen was a top-notch adventurer. Glen was missing for most of this volume and this is the first time we began to question does he have other aims? Considering as soon as he gets the secret quest from Jessica, we don't hear much from him until the end of the volume.

As Jade got the promise of going on a date with Alina if he helped her clock out on time for the festival. The interesting dynamic is how the other wonders why the other is a Receptionist/Adventurer. Jade possesses a good amount of social skills when Glen and other fellow adventurers take him out to drink. It impresses Alina, but Jade points out there is more to being an adventurer than just taking quests. Though with Alina taking everything with a brute force approach. Jade just wonders why isn't she an adventurer considering she possesses a Dia skill that other adventurers would die for.

Though a big part of this volume circulated about Lululee and her past. Essentially, before she was able to acquire the Sigurth skill she currently has, she was part of a party with Aiden. Who is associated with the group that was spreading rumors. Aiden constantly blamed Lululee since she had to heal two of the other party members, but only one would be revived. She decided to heal both of them with an equal amount, but both perished. Although, as Lowe suspected, there is more to the story. Aiden knows that he deserved more of the blame because he pushed his party to take on the boss when they were exhausted. Failing to control aggro, he failed his duties as a tank. He essentially put Lululee in a position to fail, but sadly, she still blames herself.

The biggest remaining plot thread is how did Heitz get his hands on the secret quest? Clearly, he was allowed to roam into the underground prison and get Aiden out. Though the biggest wonder if this was Glen? Obviously, this had to do with the man in Black Robe, but are he and Glen the same? This time when the Dark God came both Alina and Jade were working together. This time the Dark Gods were 2 in 1 twins named Vienna and Fienna. Separated they weren't much of a threat to Alina. Though as we know, Dia skills will trump a Sigurth skills. However, Jade's idea was to combine Sigurth skills essentially using Sigurth Blood with multiple instances of Sigurth Wall allowed him to overcome the limitations of what Sigurth Wall can do. Though when the twins combined is where the real issue starts. They were able to break Alina's war hammer and leave her unconscious. Though as Jade was using his composite skills to hold off the twins, it was up to Lululee to heal Alina. The fact that injured Alina got up inspired Lululee. Even someone like Jade who can a pain in the butt, her goal was to come home with everyone. Because of this Lululee realizing she can stack Sigurth Revives to heal. As the Dia curse that struck Alina was gone.

Alina realized the only way to beat the twins is if they were in their Vilfina form. Though how to beat her was the question. The moment after, Alina's War Hammer broke again and when she called it once more it evolved into a Golden War Hammer. The big question is: Why did this happen? Is this something beyond a Dia skill? At the very least, Vilfina was frightened with her weapon and went to attack Lululee. Luckily, Jade was barely holding on. Alina was able to defeat this monster so they all can go home. In light of all of this was Alina was beyond exhausted and the frustration sat in that the time she wanted to spend at the festival was stuck defeating a Dark God. She doesn't regret it, but overtime and Dark Gods getting in the way of her desired uneventful life.

It was sweet to learn Alina's true motivation to attend the Centennial Festival. It was because of the Souls Rest Service where they allowed to pay respect to the adventurers that passed on. As she indicates, this is more for the living than the dead. Still, despite it being a selfish desire, she wanted to do it because that was how much Shroud meant to her. Luckily, a week later the 3rd day of the festival happened and allowed Alina to be a part of this service. Though the biggest shock was when Alina heard so many compliments from the adventurers about her work. Alina knows she busts her ass off, but it feels good to know your work is appreciated. As she is accompanied by Silver Sword and now Lululee is much happier and at peace. She has learned that the company of others is something good, and she has found of group of friends she cared about.

Did not see that twist at the end coming :pachaha:

Much of this volume centered around a similar problem, which was Alina and her overtime. With the thought that the receptionist that Glen would have hired that she wouldn't need to worry about that. Though they never came. From the point of the higher ups saying if you can help you can have your birthday off. Also, Alina attending a new receptionist seminar to get advice on how to handle overtime. Mostly the theme of just because your superiors promise you something, if it isn't in writing then their word doesn't mean shyt.

It's been clear that Alina has grown very fond of Jade. Though his overly creepy Jade behavior has been something of a normal thing for her. Jade trying to act more normal around Alina scared her because there was a fear of him being normal would mean changing. Thus, him changing would mean him leaving her like how Shroud left him. While we know this wouldn't happen for Jade, from Alina's perspective it makes sense. Ultimately, it's clear as day Alina has grown attached to Jade. This little development even adds more weight to that.

As Jade continued to suspect Glen, as expected, Glen was the man in black. Though the motivation was where the confusion was because Glen deeply cared for Silver Sword and was there to support Jade and company. As Fili mentioned, could there be someone that could motivate Glenn to do these various actions. That was his dead adoptive daughter Lynn. Who changed him for the better? Glenn was a cold man, but thanks to Lynn he learned how to love. Lynn was someone who gave him love because she had nothing and to her Glenn had kindness, but didn't know how to display it. Glenn learned how to face other people and connect. Though Glenn served as motivation for Lynn. Lynn joining Silver Sword lead to her demise. Ultimately, Glenn never got to say she loved her.

As Shelley hypothesized, the ancients didn't create dark gods, but rather a human turns into a Dark God. The reason for Glenn was that his Sigurth Skill Sigurth Cross only allowed him to observe time, but if it became Dia Cross, he could alter and affect time. What would his desire be to save Lynn, but how would that affect the present? After all, if both Glenn and Lynn survive then the path Glenn went from, there wouldn't be the same? Despite everything, he died because he cared about Alina and Silver Sword. Thinking Alina was a fool, but rather she lived her life how she wanted it. The worst part is that doing all of this, Glenn failed. He could do nothing for Lynn. Which we end up seeing him with a mark of Dia and his personality changed. This could be the effect of becoming a Dark God as Glenn wanted more power so he could save Glenn. More than likely, the Dark God's Core would pray on one's weakness. Glenn, who wouldn't hurt Alina and Silver Sword, would do that very much.

As Glenn baited Alina and Jade by not killing Lowe and Lululee to get them to lower their guard. Though dealing with Glenn's Dia Chronus was hard because he could pause time and appear in a new spot. Combining 2 Sigurth Beasts and Lululee's Sigurth Revive as a fusion composite skill. The Sigurth Beasts allowed him to be able to anticipate Glenn's moves. While Sigurth Revive allowed him to be able to handle the composite skill of two Sigurth Beasts. While Jade was tanking, Alina handled Glenn similarly as she did during her first encounter with Glenn. As before, when her War Hammer changed into a Golden War Hammer, she was able to move within Glenn's Dia Chronus like she did with his Sigurth Chronus before. Could this mean there was a skill level above Dia? By taking out the arm which held the Dark God's core, Alina defeated Glenn, and he returned to his old self.

Glenn couldn't live without Lynn. Alina experienced the same thing with Shroud's death. Though for her, it was something, she had to accept and move forward. After all, he wouldn't want Alina to dwell on him and the same can be said for Lynn. Despite the success here, Glenn wasn't able to provide information to who told him about the Dark Gods. More than likely a spell of sorts that tampered with his memory the moment he were to leak certain information. Given that the final scene where we learn that Laila is a Dark God and has a connection with Silha, Vienna and Fienna has you curious. Even more so that a Dark God acclimated so much to disguise herself as an innocent receptionist. What is her plan, and where do Alina and Silver Sword go from here?

Just read The Only Thing I'd Do in a No-Boys-Allowed Game World, Vol. 1 Reincarnated as a Yuri Ship-Sinker

Basically it’s a harem novel and the MC is reborn into the world of a yuri game but the female leads are falling in love with him instead of each other. He wants them not to fall in love with him.

It reads somewhat like Magical Explorer which I also quite like.
