at SMG. Had an M3 with that shyt... Horrible transmission. I imagine it's even worse in the 330.
insurance pays the value of the car they crunch numbers and give you an estimate they they pay the lien holder.so what happens when a car is totaled??

if anything is left on the loan and you have gap coverage the gap insurance company pays the rest or whatever value they have in the agreement to pay. if you're heavy underwater you might be fukked. if you have any negative equity from a previous auto loan the gap won't cover that.
if you have no gap you have to pay the balance on the loan to pay it off. you keep making the agreed upon monthly payments till the loan is paid off.

Mine was regular steptronic I just wired the paddles to the gear box so i could shift gears on the steering wheel.
SMG was garbage though and 6k to fix if the pump broke.
