My favorite is King Shark in the Harley Quinn TV show. I know he's technically a shark but he cracks me up and is my favorite part of the show.

The tech guy is usually the one with the weakest character develop because they're smart. Even if they're significant to the plot. The character doesn't even have to do anything smart...they just have to ramble off out of context tech nonsense and solve every problem you throw at them = a Hollywood nerd. See The Big Bang Theory.

When you need to fill a quota, you add a Black character. But you don't want to give them a throway role or make them a stereotype, the libs will get angry....enter the black tech nerd.

Black enough to avoid criticism, non-black enough to be written by someone who doesn't interact with Blacks. Can double up as a stealth comedic role if the other characters ignore him.

Ol boy from NCIS New Orleans gets the side eye as being the only crippled person on the show but other than that, it seems like you want this to be a problem so you can play a victim.
