The government.
the same government that facilitated slavery to begin with? It isn't going to happen. Too many times our positions rely on government taking some course of action. And time after time the state has proven to be ineffective.
And lets say reparations were within the realm of possibility. Black Americans are for the most part are too politically dead and irrelevant to invoke any kind of change in government policy.

That's why during this push for reparations we will promote more black businesses so even if we don't get reparations we will still succeed based on the economic power gained by black businesses.
Its in two parts so even if one fails the other will work to benefit us.

I'll just throw this out there but the highway is a good example of white flight. If you ever looked at the older cities in America that had historically black areas, you will notice the highways go, through or around these areas like the plague. They try to blame it on urban planning but the effect of these highways at the time pulled business away from black owned businesses. There was a time when the corner store wasn't just frequented by people who lived near the corner store. The lotto (or what known as the Numbers game) is another example of White Flight. But the thing about White Flight is that when they leave a city or center they take something with them, only to come back decades later when the situation is more in their favor. Thus by convincing banks that the land is less profitable, when redevelopment starts coming back, they buy the cheap land, get rid of the undesirables (usually with help from the local government), and come back.

The ship has sailed on that. It was called Affirmative Action. Well at least that's what they thought it was. Today's battle is over positioning for the eventual "Minority-Majority" shift. Making sure we are in the key positions when the American pie truly gets divided up. Just so we won't be passed over when the time comes because we didn't know how to incorporate. It's not about individual groups anymore because people don't possess power. Power comes in the form of Corporation. That's where the real power is at. Corporation is the only form of government we need to be focusing on. The Mormons are doing it and are succeeding in levels that are unheard of. Land ownership and corporations brehs. We can't be a living pay check to pay check culture anymore. Become part of the ownership class and gain back your independence.

I dont know what to think on this subject. I have seen my aunt pay a lot of money for her house(valued around 400K) two decades ago only to see her unable to sell the house as a result of the crime rate in the area. It wasn't like that when she bought the lot and built the house. she lowered the price of the house and still people didn't want to buy it.
