What is the so called Black leadership such as the NAACP doing to combat these companies rolling back DEI expect whining and complaining?

A lot of these owners have to deal with shareholders of the companies..

But if i was part of NAACP , you have to quietly work these companies CEOs who want to keep DEI but are strangled hold by shareholders who want DEI GONE, and work on how to reword shyt in a way that we still want to stay with DEI programs..

It’s a hard thing to do, because obviously you going to have whites and even the c00ns snitch

I'm not blaming individuals I'm just highlighting that it is alarming that our legacy civil rights organizations that won numerous battles in the past don't seem to be mounting any resistance to this stuff. The "supplier diversity" stuff helped create the little Black middle class that we have in this country and now that is starting to evaporate.

Breh, I don't mean to insult you but......

Black folks need to evolve out of this needing someone else to carry your hand and be your savior.

You should be getting involved locally if you want change to take place.

I have never seen people who look to others to hold their hand succeed

The NAACP is a volunteer organization that's perpetually underfunded and short on hands.

You really got do nothing nikkas who follow behind grifters trying to call out black orgs. :wow:

If these salaries are accurate and I'm reading this right, it looks like the President paid himself over 800K in 2023. It looks like the breh made over 2m's in his tenure:skip:

Thats the biggest thing we need to do , is focus on local elections for city councilmen and women, getting rid of these viruses in our communities from drug dealers, users and useless negros

We been so worried about the presidential election and absence from our own neighborhood elections

We need to focus on community first and trying to have our own Black Town, like italians, asians, Hispanics have..

I don't mean to insult , but you if you think individualistic thinking will liberate and advance Black people in this country, especially FBA/
ADOS people, you are crazy.

It's not about looking for someone to "hold your hand" it's about eliminating systematic barriers and UNDOING the harm that has been done to ADOS/FBA people over these last several hundred years.

You've asked this before, and I explained to you that the NAACP is pushing back, but they're limited by the SCOTUS ruling. They've been monitoring compliance making sure no anti-discrimination laws are broken, challenging overreach in states like Texas and Florida who want to ban the programs outright, and applying public pressure, but the SCOTUS ruling created a chilling effect that's hard to thaw.

You have to remember that most DEI and supplier programs were voluntary in the first place. They weren't legally mandated. And that makes it almost impossible to directly challenge this in court, given that voluntary programs are discretionary, unlike specific laws or policies. And while the ruling didn't require anyone to abandon them, they took the initiative to do so anyway, because it gave them legal and cultural cover. Companies never really cared about this. You haven't heard? Politics get in the way of money.

What more do you think they should be doing?

You can't build a house without laying down a brick.

Change doesn't happen by looking for someone else to make change

We have to create that change ourselves.

As @King Poetic. It starts local.

Getting the right leadership making decisions.

Nothing will work until that happens

They all work together.

Look at the jews.

They make sure their kids handle their businesss, they keep their neighborhoods cleared of riff raff and they work together economically and culturally.

They also manage to put fellow jews who have the Jewish peoples interests at heart in power

It is a combined effort

You should ask bothsiders who voted for trump

They said they want their racism fully open so it would be easier to fight it.
