Why are our modern civil rights organizations so damn weak and inept? Not just the NAACP but other civil rights orgs as well.

There are no major black leaders…. Just grifters and wannabe grifters.

There are a decent amount on the local level but the black political machine kills them. Stacey Abrams was the last major figure I could think of who had that spark and I haven’t heard anything about her in years.
