Perspectives. If one has that much money for a mistress, then thats just a small portion, very small portion of their wealth. When you have that type of wealth, their time is way to valuable to spend trying to arrange for getting different women, the risks involved, etc. Time is money. The mistresses are like a toy. You pull them off the shelf to play with them at your convenience. Much like guys have expensive yachts, etc.
Because it would cost them half of their wealth. Mistresses are much less expensive with the benefit of doing things the wife may not do or do anymore.

Probably because when they got married in their early 20's, he was just starting in banking and they didn't have anything. Some of these bankers start off young, but in 20 years, can be making 10's of millions a year. In any case, I'm sure the wife has some clue, and chooses for whatever reason to ignore it. Look at the racist Donald Sterling. Billionaire, bought his mistress houses and cars. The wife only got angry way later when she had an argument with the husband. She knew for a while. BTW, as of 3 hours ago, Sterling and his wife decided to get back together.

True, and make sure to take half plus the additional for the outlay he was spending for the mistress to make up for money that wasn't coming in the house.

Wife has gotten boring and annoying, no longer looks at them like a "man" and strokes their ego. Everything becomes routine. Which is okay/good, it's stable and the best way to raise a family, but it's boring.
Mistress treats them like gold falls out their ass and is making sure that all your needs, physical and emotional are being met. Especially for rich nikkas, because the wife knows that she's entitled to your cake and time. The mistress understands that she has to compete with your wife and possibly other women for your time and money.
Never cheated in a relationship, but could definitely understand the draw of a mistress.
Basically, have your cake and eat it too, both men and women are guilty of it.

I already told my husband, if he cheats, I'm taking everything he has. If he just leaves, I won't take anything but the stuff I own. He better be smart.
