What is the most blatant case of racism that has happened in your life?

When I was a wee boy me and my friend gave money to st andrews hospice and got badges for it. My friends dad took the badge off him and asked him why he gave money to a charity for "Fenians."

I was so upset. It still hurts me.

Another incident was when I was doing the paper round and one of the people I asked said they didn't want their papers delivered by a "fukking pot licker."

And the worst incident was when I was beaten and stabbed in the back of the head by a group of bigots.

Well, I was at a nearby store a few years back. I went to get something for my mom at the time (as she is disabled) so i got my shyt and paid for it.

A white employee questioned the things in my bag on my way out. Mind you i was 15 or 16 at the time. So i showed her my receipt.

You know this fukking bytch wouldn't let me go even after i showed her my receipt? Needless to say. I started to grill her.but whay she said to me made me furious. She said i looked "suspicious". Mind you i had on a happy bunny shirt and some jeans. So i knew that was bullshyt.

So instead of calmly walking away. I decided reading her to filth would be more satisfying. So i basically went in on her first for even saying i looked suspicious because i was black. And i raised my voice to make sure everyone heard loud and fukking clear. She looked nervous and tried to tell me to "calm down" wrong thing to tell me when im pissed the hell off. So i just balled up my receipt and threw it in her face. Got my shyt and left before i did something i would regret.


I have more stories but im not sure if i want to go down memory lane to get myself worked up all over again. And some are way worse than this.

I worked as an IT technician for a university. One day after I had delivered 2 iMacs and a couple of Lenovo laptops to our staff members my boss told me to throw out the boxes as we usually do. I flattened most of them but Apple and their fancy iMac boxes are a little more difficult to flatten so I just put them on the cart along with a bunch of random Styrofoam prices laying around the office and went into the elavator to bring them down to the dumpster.

when I got on the elevator and the door closed this old white lady (who works there and has seen me before) looked at me like and then quickly proceeded to open both iMac boxes on the cart when I looked down at my phone.

I turned around and her face was like when she saw that the boxes were empty.

Me:

Her: "Oh I wonder which lucky staff member got new computers today!!!"

Me: "Yea" (channeled my inner Marshawn Lynch)

Her: As soon as the door opened she walked away so fast. Never seen an old lady move so quickly.

The thing that trips me out about stories like this is that these people don't even give you the basic human decency of respecting your personal space. This bytch would never try this shyt with someone who she thought would say something to her or who she actually had basic human respect for. Like where the fukk do people like this get off to treat other people like this. Same type of mentality that make these motherfukkers feel up your hair like you're a fukking zoo animal and they're at the petting zoo.

If you weren't in danger of going to jail, I probably would have decked this old lady ala don't be a menace fashion if it was me.

I got an A+ (~98) in both semesters of honors chemistry in high school. The only other people in my class who got an A+ in each semester were two twin sisters who were ultimate nerds.. they ended up getting perfect (2400) SAT scores and going to the Ivy League.

I asked him to write a college recommendation for me, which is standard procedure the year before college, and he wouldn't. He said that although I did very well in the class, he felt like he didn't know me.

Come to find out, other white students (I was the only black kid in the class) who graded in the 80s got recommendation letters from him.

Truly disgusting.

This is in California just a couple years ago.. and they say racism is dead. All I can say is do not send your kids to be educated by their oppressors.

You live in 1900's New York or the UK? At this point, most whites are an admixture of different ethnic groups here in the US and outside of a few exceptions most just fall into the the "white american" identity regardless of ethnic makeup.

I think you're either trolling, live in the UK where this might be an issue still, or you live in some weird secluded enclave here in the United States where people give a fukk you're Irish.

live in scotland mate. Wee boy is a common expression here I could have also used wean.

I live in govan which is a very rangers and Protestant area. It's not just about being irish. It's being catholic.

It was only 15 years ago Northern Ireland was still a war zone. The peace walls are still up between catholic and Protestant neibourhoods there so we don't kill each other. Don't talk shyt about a situation you don't understand.
