Polar bears are on top... but they lose their strength in warm weather (they overheat because of their thick fur)

The male lion is a war machine whose only purpose in life is to fight. Comparing a lion to a tiger is like comparing a professional MMA fighter to a random bigger guy from the street. The lion wins despite being smaller. The polar bear would probably rape the lion because it's so much bigger and there is a limit at which size overcomes skill.

2. lion
3. tiger

Tigers > lions. This has been documented and proven several times over. Tigers are bigger, more powerful, and better fighters.

pfft, you guys are retarded. the answer is right here on this board.

mowgli/mr. somebody/crakface/slaimon/and co. could omoplata the fukk out of any bear or tiger or whatever. no gi, too. then he'd punch them so hard that the force of the punch would boil all of the water in their bodies, having it evaporate up to the sky, condense and form clouds, then rain down on their dried out corpses.

Tigers are bigger, stronger, hunt dolo.

Not sure hunting solo gives the tiger an advantage. I'm thinking hunting solo makes the tiger more prone to avoid fighting as an injury can prevent him from feeding himself. A male lion has b1tches who takes care of the hunting for him so he can get injured and still eat. This means that the male lion is more willing to fight which means that he fights more often which means that he gets more skilled. But these are my own amateur theories so who knows :manny:

In ancient rome when they fought, odds were usually on the tiger because they won more frequently. And there's this:

Tiger versus lion - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The male lion gets his skill advantage from fighting more often than the tiger. He doesn't have that advantage if he's been in captivity since birth like the ones in Rome probably were. I'm talking a wild male african lion vs a wild male siberian tiger.

The problem with this argument is that tigers hunt everything. A tiger will sometimes attack a bull elephant, dolo. They're not really scared of anything, and the only real threats they suffer are from elephants and other tigers, which are two of the biggest, strongest land animals, and yet they willingly attack them anyway.

Male lions aren't used to dealing with elephants, hippos, and rhinos by themselves. If anything, they attack much smaller, weaker animals when they hunt. The females will hunt larger animals, but they only do that in packs.

Male lions, once they have packs, are basically like those deadbeat Mormon dads in Utah. They don't do shyt all day, get fat and lazy, and become complacent while all their women do the work. The occasional threat display for rival males who enter their territory and even rarer fight against a rival male are the only fighting they do.

Yeah I see no justification for Lions fighting more. They play fight in their adolescence, often moving together in packs or letting their daddy and mommy set prey up for them to take down and get experience. Tigers are out there in the field as soon as they're grown popping shyt off with anything in the jungle. Like Real said basically all they have to fear are other tigers. they'll fukk with absurdly strong predators like Crocs in their own environments and win, and apex veggies like Elephants and Rhinos that would pretty much fukk up anything else with the exception of the best of Lions. They basically would rule their ranges in Asia without humans, and they fukked humans up enough too even when we had weapons.

When you fight rhinos and elephants, you get good at fighting rhinos and elephants. As a result, male tigers are probably better than male lions at fighting rhinos and elephants. When you fight big cats, you get good at fighting big cats. As a result, male lions are probably better than male tigers at fighting big cats.

They do it to save energy for their only purpose in life: fighting.

EDIT: But then I found this:

Although combat experience would give veteran lions prowess, the social nature of these cats may ultimately be their biggest weakness in a brawl with a tiger. According to the Lion Research Center at the University of Minnesota, coalitions of two to three male lions usually fight as a group against territorial rivals, but tigers always go it alone. This difference affects the two cats' instincts.

"What I've seen from tigers, they seem to be more aggressive; they go for the throat, go for the kill," Saffoe said. "Whereas the lions are more, 'I will just pound you and play with you.' Lions can maybe afford to play around a bit more because they've got backup with other lions. Tigers can't. Maybe they are conditioned through their evolution never to depend on help from anyone else and always to go for the quick kill."

Oh well :manny:. At least the lion gets more pu$$y.
