You used the concept of race to support an argument on gender. That is not a good point to use as leverage. Are you saying that the reason women are not considered better is because men did not let them be better??

Its not bad for the male.
Its bad if the male decided to take care of fully able adult during marriage and is ordered to pay Alimony(which is very rare and only used if the 1 spouse stays at home) and alimony is only used for a short period of time.
Or if the wife gets full custody and the male pays child support. which has nothing to do with marriage.
The only money and assets acquired during marriage is the only thing eligible to be split up. which is fair.
