I'm not deflecting at all. You believe that France wants a United Nigeria, I don't, otherwise why are Frenchmen being found in Boko Haram strong holds?

Identity Of Arrested White Man In Sambisa Forest Revealed

Nigeria and France have been at a Proxy war for some time now. Nigeria is surrounded by Mali, Chad, Niger, Cameroon, all Francophone countries yet you think there's nothing more at play?

The French invasion of Nigeria by proxy - Vanguard News

Cameroon is a pawn that has been firing shots at Nigeria at an increasing rate. They are France's tool to destabilize Nigeria at the behest of America. All the evidence is there. Boko Haram, Biafra, Economic sabotage all within a period of a few years.

War is imminemt. Nigeria’s military chiefs gives theater Army and Air Force commanders 40 day ultimatum to capture Shekau.

Hillary Clinton fought to ensure Boko Haram WASN'T listed as a terrorist organization for a reason breh. Y'all think these Cacs are playing checkers
Why are you so eager to defend a failed country. Unless you're some northern elite or a confused afonja, you sound mighty rediculous.

(Largely) The Misery of the North
Nigeria has 'largest number of children out-of-school' in the world - BBC News

You still want a country with almajiris?
:comeon:
Exactly, the north is backwards as fukk. Women are treated like second class citizens, they are anti vaccination (just recently had a polio out break), extreme hunger, poverty, and religious fundamentalism in the north. Meanwhile, the rich alhajis all send there kids to learn in Europe while simultaneously neglecting their country.

Pathetic

Traditionally, France has tried to destabilize Nigeria but as I explained the EU want a stable Nigeria for a few reason:
- Prevent more migrants going to EU territories
- Prevent Northern Nigeria from devolving into Afghanistan Part II
- To have a client state in West Africa
- To access oil and gas in the Niger Delta

I got this part but if they wanted to prevent migrants from coming to Europe why take out Ghadaffi in the first place? And for the client state I already showed you Obama strategically weaned America off Nigerian oil to and gas to zero imports so something doesn't add up. I truly believe the geopolitical ramifications of Nigeria not signing the EU trade deal is a point if contention that can't be overlooked. Afterall why does West Africa need European goods when we have Aba?

Moreover, Nigeria's elites are less likely to care about Nigerian sovereignty and greater black liberation compared to Murtala Mohammed and his ilk.

As for Clinton, she didn't want to sell arms to the Nigerian gov't because of human rights concerns. Obama too. Which is largely correct. One example,

The Rann bombing which killed over 112 refugees from the Lake Chad Region is now being blamed on "homeless people"
:mjlol:

But anyway, Jonathan got around this by getting weapons from the Ukrainians.

Yeah that bombing was a damn shame. But let's be honest, America sells weapons to human rights violators all the time: Iraq, Saudi, Israel, etc. Why use the Brady Bill for JUST Nigeria especially when they are fighting terrorists?

thats i feel most of the time breh
That's how I feel too.

The more I try to understand Nigeria, the less I understand Nigeria.

Also the more I try to understand Nigeria, the more I understand why my father left there for here in America in the 70s. And why many Igbos fled.

- Gadaffi was reluctantly taken out by America, but enthusiastically so by France, Britain and Italy. They didn't know the ramifications of taking out Gadaffi. Also, this was before the Syrian Civil War really heated up and brought millions of refugees across Eurasia.
- You don't need the resources of a client, necessarily, to be a client state. Rwanda is a Western client state. No one cares about Rwandan coffee and sisal. Their are other strategic objectives in play than mere economic exploitation.
- The EU trade deal is a point of contention, but it pales in comparison to larger strategic concerns regarding demographics in Europe/future border security and terrorism. Elites in Brussells probably believe it's a matter of time before they get taht trade deal. If Nasir El Rufai becomes President (they are grooming him!) then they don't have to do too much.
