What happened to the NWA album we was supposed to get early 2000s?

From what I understand, it was a combination of label politics (having to get Interscope/Aftermath, Priority, and No Limit on the same page), inability to actually get permission from Eazy-E's estate to use the NWA name, and scheduling conflicts for everyone not named MC Ren. Cube was picking up the pace with movies, Dre was busy working on 2 Eminem albums, Truth Hurts, and producing other artists, and Snoop was busy being Arch Bishop Don Juan's intern to prepare to play a pimp for his next album.
I also hear Tamika/ruthless wouldn't clear Game naming his album nikka witta attitude and that is how it became "the documentary"

Also that there is unreleased music.

It's all fukked up.

There’s like 2 unreleased game albums

R.E.D album which was entirely produced by the neptunes or pharell

And D.O.C which was written by the doc

Quik is the bigger name both then and now.

Only in the early 90s could Ren be argued as bigger.

you just contradicted yourself within the same post.

and dj quik was never a star.

I think it would've. Even without an album, I think they performed at the first BET Awards. If I'm not mistaken Ren was there too. There's also the fact that Snoop's "Lay Low" was a pretty big song.

nah, it was the BET 20th anniversary show.

the 1st BET awards was a year later, coincidentally, "lay low" was performed.

Gtfoh
Dj quik was not regional and was definitely a bigger name than mc ren

okay buddy.

Most people dont know MC Ren either. But Quik does have a legacy. Quik makes more sense cause hes from Compton, from the same era as NWA and was cool with Eazy. He just fits in Eazy's spot more than anyone else I can think of.

Fun facts

On Dresta's NWA diss he said he would rather have someone from Compton like Eiht or Quik in than Snoop.

Also Quik had been specifically contacting Dre about being part of an NWA reunion. Quik thought Dre's verse on "what's the difference" was about Quik even though X told him it wasn't (ironically it was about MC Ren). Quik dissed Dre on u ain't fresh before Quik realized he was wrong.

I love them both but Ren was never big as Quik as far as solo careers go.

Quik had a better solo career in terms of numbers & such, but he was never as popular as mc ren.

Ren albums were popular in places where Quik was irrelevant & got no burn whatsoever.

I understand that the coli loves dj quik, but quik himself will tell you that.

one if the best diss tracks ever

but its far far more known for being on the murder was the case soundtrack, rather than for being on "safe & sound".

think about it.

lol. Quik seems to have some sort of issue with dr dre.

he jumped the gun on dre recently too, when he thought dre didn't include his music on apple or whatever.

dissed him on social media, and then retracted real quik(pun intended) when he found out he was wrong and his music was already uploaded.

He's bipolar. He has mood-swings and gets on Twitter etc talking shyt about somebody and later changes his mind.

I notice that, even back on boxden, you come up with these oblivious, alternative facts about hip hop. Could you please learn to state some of your sources when you make these outrageous remarks
