The British monarchy rule Nigeria more than they rule the UK
shyt is depressing. Have you watched “Nigeria: Journey of an African colony” on Netflix? The amount of atrocities it took to build and create Nigeria most Nigerians are unaware of. :to:

if you knew anything about creole people... you would know we ain't all lightskin

you just don't understand black culture... stop getting angry

You do not think it is obvious you are not dark skin

that the women in your family as you said do not have coarse hair

that the things you have been writing proves that you have no experience or very little with blk immigrants

you are STILL calling me an African
as an insult

when it is very obvious where I am from
it is under every post

the issue is that you do not know what the fukk you talking about
you just talking like a damn hill billy
like a lil kid who stares out the window

do you not think your posts are showing you to be someone who is not very exposed?

i thought you were african... not as an insult...

what are you?

You were told dozens of times I am from the caribbean

"BomboRassPunnyBloodclaat" is under every post
you should not even ask

see how I presumed you were a high yella fella like drake?
because in my mind there is no way a black man would talk about other blk people like that

same way I feel if an african does it

it reeks of a person who has ilttle experience with the other
on this very website there are hundreds of blk americans are smarter, tougher, godlier, professional, accomplished than I could ever dream of

how could I say I am better than blk american or look down?
UNLESS I am the best at everything
which is impossible

point being you assumed I am african because I defend them
tomorrow I might be defending eskimos
we are human beings

guess we should both not presume

Antera Duke1735 — circa 1809

Antera Duke was born around 1735 in Old Calabar in what is today southeastern Nigeria. Duke and his family were prominent Efik members in an African-British slave-trading network based in Duke Town. It was through this network that Duke learned to speak and write pidgin English.

Duke kept a diary, written in trade English (a mix of African and English language used to conduct business), of his day-to-day activities in which he described trade operations and disputes with British slave ship captains. Antera Duke and his fellow traders received goods such as “cottons, household goods, beads, gunpowder, firearms, and liquor” in exchange for slaves. In addition to keeping some of the goods for capital, Duke and his fellow traders would canoe down the Cross River and trade them for more slaves to trade with British captains. In many cases, if there were outstanding debts—either on the African side for not providing enough slaves or the British side for not providing enough goods—both parties engaged in a practice called “pawning” in which free African men and women and/or sailors were used as collateral “pawns” until the debt was repaid.

where are you from?

why so vague?

You are proving my point
you might be the only person on this whole website who has to ask

What you consider vague is just habit
I will say caribbean to show unity with the whole caribbean

I believe borders and countries are bullshyt at the end of the day
so you being blk american is just another human being on another land
nothing special

if you need to know though and it appears secretive
it is Jamaica

To be real black folks really don’t like to face the real problem of they issues which is white supremacy so they rather attack themselves or people that look close to them since they feel that’s the only group they feel like they have a chance at fighting collectively. All in all it’s really counter productive to every walking black person on this earth. nikkaz are broke in Africa, nikkaz are broke in the carribbean and in America collectively. Which won’t change unless we all on the same code but instead we would rather fight each other to see who white daddy gives the scraps too. I know a lot of nikkaz don’t like that answer but it is what it is.

I liked that the host didn't make any excuses for the African atrocities and still wanted reconciliation.
He spoke a lot of truths.

A lot of Nigerians beat themselves up, blaming the country's conditions on Nigerians not realizing that the British intentionally kept Nigeria in disarray and away from its potential.

when he talked about the discovery of oil in Nigeria by the British who then decided to focus on Saudi Arabia rather than industrializing Nigeria because racist ass Lugard refused to build up the country, that set Nigeria back to this day.

I find in my travels that the conversations in the US are much more focused on white supremacy.

Many Africans are unaware of how the long tail of white supremacy impacts them because whites are not visible in their day to day interactions.

In America....Black folks face that shyt first hand. Wake up to it. code switch to make a living while under it.

I'm tired, breh. I hate that folks have to live through this shyt all the time.
