It wasnt the goverment of Romes intention to make Africa christian during the time you outline here, friend. Obviously, friend, word will spread of a man in Rome dying on a cross and being ressurected some days later along trade routes because obviously, it was a glorious tale. His followers, obviously being run out of rome, spread to a variety of places, Africa included. Rome did not take on christianity until close to 4 centuries after they killed Yeshua. By that time his message had already spread and it wasnt even called Christianity. Them having trade routes in the first century after the death of Christ does not equate to them spreading what became Catholocism RIGHT AFTER THEY HUNG OUR FRIEND JESUS OUT TO DRY.
