Since you mentioned "recommited", what happened ? Lost Focus for a while ?
Lost 50 lbs in 2011 and kept it for a while.
Got a new job in April 2012 and got depressed from moving (it's a trigger for people with depression) and didn't go to gym as much.
But it really got bad once I got a new job in January 2014. Office job and it was much more sedentary and I doubled my salary so I was able to eat out more and work 12 hours a day. Never went to gym and ate like shyt.

Mcdonalds or wawa for breakfast.
Pizza, wings, chess teams or Strombolis for lunch.
And same shyt for dinner.
Drank mad soda and snacked all day.
Was getting less than 1500 steps a day.

Gained like 40 to 50 lbs in two years.

Now at another new job and I get like 4 to 6000 steps just at work alone. We have a cafeteria so I can eat healthier. And the hours are better so I can go to gym ever night after work.

Can't explain but I am more stable now and the gym has become part of my life again. It isn't just an obligation :blessed:

I literally go to bed and wake up thinking of the gym and eating healthy.

I pretty accomplished everything I wanted and I'm 28. Now it's just losing weight and being fit....and I'll chase those goals until I die.

I'm lowkey obsessed lol

Started back again in May 2016 after ducking the gym for 2-3 years. Was never "fat" but I did gain unhealthy weight from fall 2014 until may 2016. My blood pressure was in the prehypertension range and I knew I had to become active again. :wow:


Cleaned up my diet and got back in the gym...I feel :blessed: and it's dope seeing normal blood pressure again :manny: . I only fell off track dealing with my grandmothers death and other shyt. :dame: Fast food and beer was my way of coping :patrice:




Women going out their way to send compliments too :upsetfavre: also my ex exercising outta fear ima stop fukking w/ her :russ:

Simply put, It's my fortress of solitude. Inthe winter/fall I'm in the gym anti social as fukk with my hoody on and dr beats blaring. But since the summer I've been working out in tanks and shorts and without the cloaking of my hoody people there are forcing me to be social,:russ:

Dudes coming at me like :gladbron:" yo you got huge !"not knowing I've pretty much maintened this physique for a minute under my hoodies but maybe i did get a bit bigger I can't really tell. I never take body pics. Heads coming up to me telling me to compete. I'm like I'm just doing this for fun, they hit me with the :skip:

I'm a relatively speaking nice guy (what I am here I am in real life)

I have severe anger issues at times that I've finally gotten under control and the gym helps me balance them. Lord knows where I'd be if I didn't have a legal outlet to be full of unapologetic rage and aggression

When you powerlift for an hour or so and are looking yourself in the eyes in the mirror if you leave that gym still full of rage then there's something seriously wrong with you


The gym introduces you to who you are, if there's quit in you you'll find it quick. I like that.

That pump and adrenaline running through your body post workout is second to none. Feels like you on molly but with a clear mind.
