I'll also say the whole idea to start the movie with Bruce retired as Batman for eight years was so fukking lazy. Like what was the point of him becoming the Dark Knight in the previous movie, when after this motherfukker drove off epicly on his motorcycle into the night, he just went home and sat on a couch for eight years weeping over the ugliest broad in town? Bane was not "clearly" in love with her, they arguably had more of a brother/sister relationship. The only thing the film makes clear and unambiguous is that they have some kind of love for each other.

Again you're making an assumption without any evidence. You can't present one piece of evidence that conclusively proves their love (on either side) was non-platonic, you're presenting your assumptions as facts.
