I think it's closer to Chris Nolan caring more about Inception and Jonathan at the time was preoccupied with Interstellar so they let Goyer handle more of the writing duties than he should ever be allowed. Doesn't excuse some of the garbage ass direction like the fight choreography and Talia's death, that's all Nolan who admittedly seemed like he didn't care anymore.

A little late to the party but that beginning scene in the plane was some of the lamest shyt I've ever seen in a superhero movie.

The dialogue between Bane and whoever the fukk that guy was :what:

I thought it was so cool the first watch, rewatching it showed how weak the movie was.

Easily the worst in the trilogy, TDK being #1 in my opinion.

movie would've been better if bane wasn't a love sick simp ass puppet. talia brought nothing to this movie.

they could have done it but Heath made the character so uniquely his own that anyone coming in would have to try and copy what he did... and it would never live up.

Nolan even states that he was tired by the third...and it shows, it had a great narrative with Bane actually beating Batman on screen (Shout out to the knightfall comics) but it became boring with how Batman beat said villain....only because he "wanted" to...no special training, no gadget, even when he ripped Banes breather...he still doesn't win. It all felt very boring when it came to the Bruce/Batman dynamic.

Robin/Nightwing was better, JGL was a great actor in the film and teased for more action at the end of the film...Christian Bale killed Batman for me in the first movie...his voice always cuts right through me, some horrible understanding of a character right there.

I enjoyed the fact that they used a real plane and no CGI, then again I'm a practical stunts kinda guy.

Booty cheeks, nah it was like 5/10 story wasn't good, bane started off as a good villian, but the third act was terrible plot exposition in dreams? That's some real comic book crap that didn't match the tone. A lot of dumb scenes and of course who can forget the end with the police and bad guys charging at each other on some Yosemite Stan "chaaaarge!" Steeze
