What direction y'all think Kendrick is going in on his next album?

I actually hope we get that rock album that was mentioned. Kendrick welcomes the challenge of new sounds and direction, so I would be interested to see how he would approach this theme.
Tbh, his delivery can be rock esque at times plus his singing has gotten better

And if kiedis can lead the rhcp, then surely kendrick can deliver :russ:

Maybe he'll be able to dig up d'angelo from the dungeon and get the rest of the vanguard back together:lawd:

No. Mr Morale was experimental enough, I’d like an approachable banger from him this album, not some other “pushing the line for the sake of it” project. Make that the untitled part 2

He's already done that. Twice. You have GKMC and DAMN. What 'banger' of an album are you referencing that he hasn't done already?

A rock album is a completely different genre for him. Did TPAB have elements of it? Of course. And he killed that. But an entire rock album? I think would sound amazing.

And neither damn nor GKMC sound alike. He can still make a banger album that sounds nothing like either of those. fukk a rock album, I’m trying to hear rap Kendrick, not some shyt for pretentious listeners to sniff their farts to because it’s “so different”

It's gonna sound like the culture on steroids. That's what he does. He's THAT nikka.

He got that movie coming, too. I think it's going to sound larger than life. Especially seeing the fashion stuff he got going.

He's aired all the grievances seemingly so I think we might get something ignant lyrically.

Kendrick puts out what jail nikkas and street nikkas like/go thru a lot. So I expect plenty inspiration. Plus it's an election year so I would like a track hearing his take on things rn.

Mr. Morale was experimental/challenging in content, not sound. And rock-influenced records can be bangers.
