Black excellenceIt's a little different when a white man says it to a black man than another black man saying it.

yeah that was more tone deaf than the Family Matters bar. I didn’t have a problem with it other than it’s just another example of a strained metaphor he didn’t have to use. He’s referencing “cars and jewelry” but again, yall allow certain bars from certain artists..."You got my mind in a terrible place
Whipped and chained you like American slaves
Act like you not used to Sheraton stays"
Now answer the question, Nap![]()
The funny thing is that Kendrick has never been an activist rapper or taken many direct political stances. His music has largely been personal. Which is why Drake's comment was clearly a glimpse of his own white mentality. When you hear conscious raps and dismiss them as slave raps it tells me that you're a cac who cannot approach race without self destructing, mentally. The same way a lot of white people have decided that any mention or acknowledgement of race is racism. It's a panic response, deep rooted in confusion and anger. The exact type of reaction a mixed kid might have if he grew up around white Jews and tried to fit in by denigrating black people - something he's literally on camera doing when he was younger, before he started rapping.
Wasn't worth the effort doing what? Dodging the damn question again?yeah that was more tone deaf than the Family Matters bar. Its like the “she lied about ass shots but she still a stallion” line.
It wasn’t worth the effort.
Are we ignoring J Cole and Big Sean called Kendrick out for this?????All facts, Drake heard shyt like Alright and King Kunta and tried to lump Kendrick in a certain category, which show Drakes whiteness
Yall are using awkward bars to equate Drake with Aaron CarterWasn't worth the effort doing what? Dodging the damn question again?![]()
