DC nikkas like the east coast version of Bay Area nikkas, y’all go out y’all way to be different. But the word Moe is some Chicago shyt, it’s synomous with Black P Stones. Same way same way that Loc is another word for Crip. Some folks in Chi don’t even call them BPS or Stones, it’s just Moes. Like when Common say on the corner with the 4’s and the Moes, he talking bout 4 corner hustlers and Black P Stones. And BPS old as dirt in Chicago, they been around since the 50’s. I legit got family members with grand children who was yelling out Moe and banging that 5 back when Black folks had to sit on the back of the bus in the south. The first time I heard a DC breh say Moe I had to ask him if he had Chicago roots.
