the heavily tatted, colorful dreads, balmain jean, gaudy colorful rainbow designer tops is the literal opposite of the all black gold teeth designer aesthetic Rocky stole from Purrp.

rocky ain't the main style influence as much as bari is to them nikkas
the kool aid dyed tatted up(something that really is regionless) expensive denim tour tee urban grunge black rockstar shyt is a wave these nikkas caught watching blogs/social media of ny individuals being styled by ny based stylist reading ny based fashion magazines jahahahahaa

ny is the center of the fashion culture on an international scale and most definitely as far as stateside
that has always blended with block culture nikkas hustle to hop on the train hit the boutiques and burn money

you already know this you been out here first hand in ny and atl

LOL nope

the only connection NYC has with that aesthetic is Ian Connor and he is a Georgia nikka. Future, Ye, Sosa and Thug are the main people who ushered in this new look.

ian was dressing like shyt til he came to ny bari is his pops

future was dressing like a late era dipset nikka early on as he came up he got styling help

ye has no organic style he came out the gate on that backpack granola shyt and changed as he got around certain individuals right now that nikka spends more time in ny preeing the youngins looking for waves to
ride than in his own home town

sosa is only an influence to nikkas who don't know better

thugger is a weirdo he came in the door mimicking tune went through the phase where he was running through the mall with his eyes closed just random and now he got ny stylist

its a matter of access & exposure ny is the only place where gangs narcotics and couture cross paths directly other places nikkas get money but don't get far enough away from the block to develop a taste for real luxury like that

Bari can't dress. Bari wore drapey Rick and Raf with a caesar cut and forces.....the literal opposite of the rockstar Heidi Slimane look.

The rest of the post isn't even worth addressing because it is so far from the truth. The same NY nikkas who would hate on dreads, grills and flamboyant wear are now trying to take credit for an aesthetic thats always been Midwestern/Southern :skip:

In fact, I can't think of a single fashion thing that NY nikkas have brought to urban culture lately. Wayne, P and Ye popularized high end street wear. Atlanta brought the weirdo hippie rockstar fashion. Cali brought the colors. Flawda nikkas brought the dreads and golds and Purrp brought all black gothic style.

Supreme? Nope, Tyler popularized the gaudy boxy logo aesthetic which is just an extension of P. nikkas not out here wearing Rick like that so what has NY really been out here doing?
