Do you have a goal? If you are looking for a predominantly black city/area where crime isn't as much of an issue when compared to Detroit then Southfield, Royal Oak Twp (kind of), North Oak Park, Lathrup Village, Farmington Hills are the answers (they are all in the same area)

If you are looking for a black city/area where crime isn't as much of an issue when compared to Detroit but still predominantly black or a lot of black people, Southfield, Royal Oak Twp (kind of), North Oak Park, Lathrup Village, Farmington Hills is the answer (they are all in the same area)

Lathrup Village is inside of Southfield. Non Jewish cacs set it up back in the day to separate from Southfield once black people started moving there. Black people have taken over Lathrup Village now. Also black people are starting to move to West Bloomfield as well.
