I honestly think he's a bridge for some white dudes between right wing ideology and the left mainly due to him tackling some issues. The only issue folks can have is that they think some of the stuff he says is falling on deaf ears so it's doing the work of the right somehow but I disagree. He's way more productive to the left than Jimmy Dore.

I prefer Ben Dixon, Michael Brooks and The Majority Report as a whole more tho. Much more insightful and informative.

Long story short Kyle is related to trump voters. I even think he’s from Ohio or somewhere in the mid west. That’s why he identifies what they see in trump. So even if he doesn’t explicitly agree he sees the window to debate and persuade them and engage them because he see their grievances as something to be debated.

He does the same thing with alt right dudes.

Plus again, it’s one thing when someone like Ben Shapiro gets mad at identity politics. It’s a whole other beast when allegedly left leaning dudes do it. Look it up. I called him a bridge from folks on that side to the left due to him engaging certain topics although some like college campus shyt is entirely blown up by right wing media. He will then call out some of these free speech stuff that right wing media doesn't agree. Thars the part that I think makes people see him as problematic. For white folks who are apolitical without any knowledge of shyt, they'll view the absolutism as being reasonable. Dude spent more time criticizing Hillary than Trump; I don't care what your opinion of Hillary is, she was the better choice. Bar none.

This is a right wing country. Most of our laws and sense of policy is right wing. From gun rights down to the lack of a robust social welfare state. Our entire outlook on politics is right wing influenced.

So when disaffected liberals/left leaning people swing too far left, thats why I keep trying to remind them that wanting something is different from GETTING SOMETHING.

Its why Obama could only pass a reformed version of Romney Care. Its why theres no gun reform. Its why theres a Roe-vs-Wade fight every single 4 years.
