fa sho, fa sho, what would classify as low carb though? Is it at least 200g?

About 180. Less than 50 w/o brown rice. I was on doing that for a couple weeks but couldnt maintain it. My lifts were garbage and my energy was down.

That's the main problem with low carb diets. They deplete any carbs rather "quickly" then turn to fat as an energy source, which is slower and less efficient. This should definitely not be done as a long term solution. But you might feel a little more comfortable and be able to maintain energy a better, by getting at least 215-230g of carbs, which is still fairly low. The daily recommemnded amount hoovers around 300g+

i love avocado. i need to pick a couple up right now since theyre on sale.

instead of your normal protein shake, try making smoothies and throwing protein powder in them. it's a good snack or breakfast alternative and is good as fukk. chili is another meal i've been making a lot lately. there was a thread about it a few months ago and ever since then i've been making a batch once or twice a month.

Had this discussion at the gym today. Most people do 300g of carbs in a day easily. Most people have carbs at the centre of their diet.

I wouldn't say 180g is low though. That likely has carbs in every meal. I would say 100g is the high end of "low carb" and even then you could eat oats for breakfast with that.

For breakfast I've been making a smoothie with greek vanilla yogurt, protein powder, almond milk, and frozen berries. About 400 calories and 49 grams of protein.
