If she's going to win, she will need to be in campaign mode pretty much non stop for the next 3 years.

Podcasts, livestreams, town halls, protests, strikes, she'll basically have to constantly have a presence. She will have to basically be the voice of the non retarded working class.

Im not going to say it's impossible for her to win when a mixed race man raised by a single mother with a bizarre name was president for 8 years and a felon who supported a coup attempt is currently sitting in the white house.

"That will never happen" is now a ridiculous phrase. When it comes to human beings and their choices, anything is possible.
Facts.

Zero chance, the right wing just automatically calls her communist so she won't get any votes from there, the neo-libs don't really like her even though she tries to fall in line mostly (see what Nancy did to her recently), and she's losing some support with the left as well because she flip flops.

And all of this is before being a woman, woman of color, etc.
Lowkey based on the shyt they are planning motherfukkers might all be down to be communist by the time this shyt is over.

Neither one was popular :yeshrug: and I think Bernie exposed Hillary and the DNC so bad that it turned a lot of people away.

I don't know why anyone expected Michelle to run. She never showed any political aspirations

Hillary won the popular vote quite comfortably - so by definition, she was popular. She just didn't have the "demographics" on her side (i.e. she was far less popular in rural areas than urban areas).

There was definitely a groundswell for Michelle to run as well. Don't forget Biden was basically forced into candidacy in 2020 because the Dems had no other realistic options against Trump.

That would be good but we all know they will go more right before going more progressive :francis: . There needs to be good campaigning and education for a lot of people.

The black voter turnout dropped from 66 to 59 and slight drops with Hispanics and Asians in 2016. That was offset with an increase with white voters. Hillary didn't excite the base because of what Bernie brought to the table and how the DNC (and mainstream media) treated him. DNC pulled the same thing on Bernie when they made everyone drop out and the consolidated around Biden against Bernie.

That groundswell was just from people wanting her to run for whatever reason. I remember people wanting Oprah to run.

It's crazy how regular people will want progressive policies but will fall in line with establishment rhetoric and convince themselves that progressives are too "radical"

I definitely agree with you in this. Bernie at that time was by far the best candidate, especially against Trump, and the data backs it up.

My point once again is that she did actually beat Trump by 3 million votes, so by virtue of the ballot box, she was more popular that him. Most of her support just happened to be concentrated in big cities.

I agree with you. I'm just saying that she didn't have that likability to get young people outside of major liberal states to show up for her and also non whites. And she ignored the "white working class" that Obama was able to get and what looked like Bernie had a grip on.

To me, she’s honestly the single best Democrat right now.

I don’t think she is currently interested in running. She’s more interested in becoming a Nancy Pelosi.
