Rodgers and Brady putting up numbers too with the same team records and against better competition

the story...the story..its all about the story...I can't even believe this is debatable..

Rodgers isn't having a good enough year to win back to back...

Brady?..nah son..

they have to do something record breaking, neither are...

their wins and numbers are down from last year at nearly the same point. we seen better from both of them. The sheriff has denver competing. He's mvp

NEW ERA
lol which goes back to my original point. unless someone else has an unreal season like Rodgers' season last year, Brady 2007, LT 2006, the media and mindless fans will just forcefeed the mvp to Manning, even though their are comparable seasons by other people.

I dont know if it's mindless. Peyton is with a whole new team and keeping up with Rogers.

What kind of stupid ass argument is this? The MVP is based on THIS season. Their numbers compared to last season are irrelevant. This is the kind of subjective nonsense that has enabled Peyton to be clear cut MVP favorite year in and year out when others are deserving as well, but aren't even considered.

i don't make the rules, it's just how it goes. brady and rodgers are having great years but compared to last year their numbers and wins are down at this point. What manning has done in denver is nothing short of remarkable considering the circumstances he faced in going there.

1. Manning
2. Gawdgers
3. Brady
4. AP
5. Ryan

You're trying to justify your nonsense. With no basis whatsoever. Please feel free to discontinue participating in this conversation.

Brady and Rodgers both have bottom 5 defenses, play more difficult schedules and have comparable numbers to Peyton. The Broncos and Peyton, with a superior defense to the Patriots, lost to them. You sound like those SEC fans that like to ignore what actually happened to craft whatever narrative you want.

You don't get what he is saying hes no disagreeing that other people might deserve it he's just saying that he will be the favorite due to who he is and the story following his comeback. Is it fair,no! is it true? Yes. I don't feel like he should be the lead candidate, but he is.

That is not what he is saying. I've watched him post for years. This is another of his scenarios that he creates. He just said that "he doesn't make up the rules" but this is how it will go. We all admitted that their is media bias, but he is stating his interpretation as if that's the actual criteria of how these things are determined. Even with all the bias that goes in Manning's favor, no one has ever said "you had a better year last year" when determining NFL MVP. The first time I ever saw that garbage used was when Nash won his second NBA mvp.

The guy didn't even have a full training camp

Brandon Stokley was out of the NFL last year and Peyton making him look like a somebody.

Of course he's MVP
