I used to think GT was the worst anime I've seen but then I watched Narutaru

disturbed little kids tame powerful monsters and use them to carry out their desires. no coherent plot, low budget animation with lots of still shots, the only remotely sane character is chronically depressed and tries to off herself several times, finally starts to get a little interesting in the last two episodes (for all the wrong reasons - School Days level plot twist) but then it ends abruptly with no type of closure

all under the guise of this happy incredibly misleading opening
