Anyone watch Kuroko No Basket? Trying to think of equivalent NBA player counterparts based on skillets/intangibles

Kuroko = Rondo (can't shoot, amazing passer)
Kagami = Blake Griffin (red hair explosive dunkers)
Kise = Kobe (copies everyone else's moves)
Aomine = LeBron (a better version of Kagami, at least initially)
Murasakibara = Shaq (lazy but way too dominant in the post)/Lamar Odom (obsessed with candy )
Akashi = Chris Paul (superior court vision)
Midorima = Curry (best shooter)
Hyuuga = Robert Horry (clutch shooter)
Hayakawa = Tristan Thompson (rebounding specialist)
Hanamiya = D-Wade (dirty player, always trying to injure people)
Kiyoshi = Pau Gasol (great post moves, very mild mannered)

hanamiya = beverly plus that team caught the work once the shenanigans ended
murasakibara = bynum or whiteside

kagami and kuroko are kenyon and jkidd on the nets

akashi only thing i can think of is jay williams at duke

Think I'm turning into a weeb, y'all.

I've been watching a lot of series/movies lately in Japanese and it sounds piff as fukk. The visuals, the animation combined with the fact that Japanese is such a beautiful language had me and . I had no idea it sounded so beautiful (weed helped ).

I've been watching it wrong all this time.

Now I wouldn't think to watch anime any other way...problem is now watching any series or anything in English is (strangely enough, or maybe not, DBZ is exempt, as is Cowboy Bebop, decent performances ).

This could pose problems if I wanted watch something western that doesn't come dubbed (Avatar, Young Justice, Marvel and DC movies, etc.).

Is it too late for me?

Man i rather watch an anime completely zooted and not being able to read the subtitles than watch that shyt with a english dub, that shyt is the worst especially when you're high.

Am i missing anything? Been sleeping on anime since Samurai Champloo aired...so im playing catch up.

^roka no yuusha was a gem

battleship yamamato 2199 is crazy slept on too. came out the same time as kill la kill and people just forgot about it. AOTY easily.
