Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood would be right up your alley. Its damn near consensus top 3 anime ever. Code Geass is my favorite anime of alltime but its mecha action. Guren Lagann is just epic. Pure and simple. You'll love it but its over the top mecha. HXH is a classic. Everyone loves it

HxH starts off so lame. I put it off for years despite all the recommendations - I completely understand everyone who says they're put off by a particular art style.

Ends as the GOAT. Gon that little digimon adventures reject is your favorite hero's favorite hero.

Done watch Gungrave. Very sad, emotional, and excellent in every way. I must confess it brought me to tears...... Would have given it a 10 if it wasnt for all that monster nonsense, so 9/10.......After the first ep I thought the whole series will be the same as it, thank God I was wrong.

Did Brandon die or not? cause didn't you notice the girl give a faint smile in the end?...I mean, I'm sure they died but why was Mika smiling? Brandon and Harry died hugging each other or something like that?

That show is a tale of 2 halves The first half of that anime is amazing. One of the best ive seen. The second part is embarrassing. Still a solid 8 off the power of the first half

Gungrave is kind of a bizarre show because the "third act" (the beyond the grave stuff) is actually the only part of the show that was based on the source material, a PS2 arcade-style shoot'em up game.



The first two acts only lead up to that stuff and for whatever reason they ended up coming up with some of the most amazing storytelling in anime ever.
