I feel the same way. I'm really not engaged in this story like I was with the rest of this series. The design of these chimera ants is really throwing me off.

kind of agree but we're only three eps into the arc..i'm still kind of holding judgement right now...phantom arc didn't pick up until 5 eps in imo

I fell off Attack on Titan to give it a few eps after ep. 3 but now I'm watching again and I'm on ep. 6

DBZ is cool (cant watch the shyt now due to how horribly the series has aged) but still I dont recall Cell, Buu (I hated this nikka and that whole saga), or Freeza wearing tube tops and g strings like Rammot. I understand they suppose to be a mixture of all these creatures but talking penguins, and fukkin tigers in daisy dukes.... The shyt just looks goofy as fukk.

this anime season has been a turd

there's like 5 shows worth watching
Attack on Titan
Hataraku Maou-sama
Valvrave the Liberator
Suisei no Gargantia
Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabu Kome wa Machigatteiru

but realistically none of them outside the first two have really gripped me as top tier series and even the first two are kinda uneven in spots. its too bad because all these shows besides Titan are ending and the next season looks even worse.
