Haven't watched any anime since Plastic Memories' last episode. Got a lot of catching up to do.

I'm down for a good shojo show after Akatsuki no Yona ended so Akagami no Shirayukihime will be watched first especially considering it's got one of the best ratings of any show this season.

Actually prefer the first FMA over Brotherhood. Difference is that it's darker, boarderline seinen. Lot ofI decided to watch the first FMA anime to see how it differed from Brotherhood. Having to watch Maes and Nina die again.

Shokugeki No Souma: As of now, I'm not diggint the new opening theme but the new intro itself is dope as hell. I caught some references to other anime namely Toriko and another one where some lady was fighting with a soup spoon. It also has a retro feel with the large text names and the flame transitions. I also liked how they showed Soma father and Dojima Senpai transitioning from young men into their current looks.
The episode was light on "new" developments but the back story exploration was more than worth it. I wish they would do and episode on Saiba and Dojima's adventures. I also hope they talk about more of the older members of Polar Star and the Ten. Souma's expressions made the episode for me. I knew once his father called him downstairs it was for a battle. I can relate to not knowing so much about your parents and just taking things as they are with no further inquiry, LOL. And what the hell was up with that eye catch? That was hilarious.
Prison School: Ayo, is the Vice President's breasts bigger in this episode or am I just imagining things? The conversation between the Chairman and the President was too serious. I loved the sound effects they put on their words for emphasis. All of that just to show fam on that "Latin Lovers" website. On the work computer no less. Talk about not giving a f u c k. Then again with his disciplinary book with the photos. Fam is really old school., LOL. The creators just said "F u c k it" about what they will and will not do. They really went through with Kiyoshi pissing on Hana even after throwing in a subtle swerve. Prison School's f u c k e r y is bountiful and appreciated.

FMAB is in my top ten as well. Just below the original FMA which tells a far grittier story and offers a more intense focus on Ed & Al. Some of the stuff in that anime I've very rarely if ever seen before anywhere else
I understand all the differences between them, that FMAB is a more faithful adaptation of the manga (which I've read), and I'll still take the original every time

Those scenes were actually sadder in the OG anime cuz Nina was in more episodes, so you got used to seeing her more. I think Maes' funeral scene was longer in the OG one too.I decided to watch the first FMA anime to see how it differed from Brotherhood. Having to watch Maes and Nina die again.

The anime ended with Ed and Al being separated.
I thought making the alchemists who tried to bring people back to life being the source of the humonculi was a very interesting take.
In the Conquer of Shambella movie, Roy spent his life in seclusion and depression cuz he feels responsible for Ed's disappearance.
