Blue Box adaptation has been too 1:1 to the manga where it feels soulless at time. Though they knocked it out of the park with this episode though.

God-damn Episode 5 of Ishura S2 was masterful by all accounts :wow:

Honestly to learn that the Great Atrazek was not a disaster, but a wurm that uses Force Arts. Kind of really showed how one thing can hide what it truly is to such a point. It had sacrifices to it, which was the girl from episode 1. It was spectacular to see Kuuro communicating to Mele. The insane part is the accuracy that he was aiming for the Great Atrazek. But the issue was Kuuro, but him realizing that the issue wasn't that he couldn't see with his clairvoyance anymore. Rather he refused to see because that would spell his death. For him to put it on the line to save all these people, you have to give him credit. So the question remains, who ordered his death? Most likely Elea with what we know.

It is quite funny to see the argument between Toroa and Kiyazuna regarding the Blasting Blade. One thing that was clear and that was Kuuro won the respect of Toroa. It illustrates that while Toroa is on his own mission to get the enchanted blades and revenge, he is still level-headed. To give up the Blasting Blade currently just so he could save Kuuro really shows he is of high character. Meanwhile, despite Kiyazuna it is funny to think the reason she was so insistent on keeping the Blasting Blade was because it was Mestelexil, her son's favorite toy. Though like any parent she is happy to see Mestelexil with a goal set.

The most terrifying part of this episode is that we learned that the sacrifice that was in the episode was a corpse. Meaning that when Great Atrazek killed her he in turn became infected. So to think everything that the Great Atrazek did was under Linaris's influence is just terrifying. Even more so, for her to throw him away just extends on that. What Linaris is planning honestly leads itself to be more and more terrifying.

Haven't read the manga but I'm enjoying the anime so far.

Netflix has a decent amount of good slice of life animes.

I guess the best way to put it. It's one of those that is a better watch if you haven't read the manga since the experience is just about the same except the visuals for the anime easily exceed those of the manga.

Yeah, I hopped on the manga around ep 10-12 and I came out pretty disappointed. Would've been just fine following the anime as the SOL aspect translates better in animation form, at least to me.

The remake for Rurouni Kenshin S2/Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Disturbance finished today. Honestly, big improvement from the S1 remake in terms of animation and direction. Still need to watch the OG's but heard those are better.

With AnimeJapan this weekend hopefully we get an announcement for them to adapt the rest of the Kyoto Arc. This, SLF and Ishura have been my favorite actions shows of the season.

"Rosclay the Absolute" is an interesting character because, unlike a lot of the cast, he isn't truly OP. Rather he is a fraud more than anything else. Still, he is someone who wants to fight with honor, but for the sake of the people of the nation he has to put that aside. Though given the monsters he will fight up against, I don't see how we can hold up? "Romzo the Star Map" went up against the Demon King, and it is clear that they lost. Wonder when we will see Neft. Meanwhile, the Blasting Sword making its appearance again is not what I was expecting.

Kuuro and Cuneigh relationship is really wholesome. More and more we see despite his name, Toroa is one of the kindest characters in this show. Even more we see he refuses to be used. He is turning into one of my favorite characters as he has both principles and honor. All that being said, I bet he will at least show up to the Royal Games where they will crown a hero.
