God-damn this episode with all these twists :damn:.

This was a really standout episode and the twists and how they were presented was remarkable. The only issue is how long Kotori and Haruka were in that burning shed. I guess this kind of separates the good adaptations from the great ones since the great ones can transition to the different mediums better.

As many pointed out last week, Masashi Kagaya was a prime suspect. The reason I believed is the fake reason Masashi alludes to at first. It had to with research. Although the term coin as a slave felt a little forced. Though you can see how the scene changes when Haruka appears. All of a sudden, he is becoming more hostile and willing to turn himself in. It is at that point it was her. It is something you wouldn't have thought at first. Takao with a great deduction that while the White Phosphorus is what resulted in Murota and Aoi to both combusted to their deaths. Though the key point why was he burning the whole shed because he didn't have access to it and Haruka refused help. Which is why when Masashi caught on he wanted to help her.

Though the domestic abuse is an angle that caught me off guard. I can sympathize for Haruka, but not empathize. I feel for anyone who goes through abuse like that. Hell having to take care of the man that you believe is responsible for why your mother died. It is even worse when people label it as an accident. It really gives you the sense that she felt she was alone. What she did was wrong, but it makes sense why she never went to Masashi for help, because she didn't think anyone would help. Since he works for her father, she thinks he is most likely like the rest of them.

Once Takao entered the building, the conversation of what her mother would have wanted would have hit much harder if she took her outside. Though the conversation was great, as you can learn just from Haruka's reaction that her mother must have been incredibly kind. Still, she has to serve time and I don't know how mentally she will hold on. It really comes down to what is the punishment that Masashi gets because he can visit her as many times as he can to show that she still has someone in her corner. But if he serves time, IDK how Haruka will hold on at this point. The real issue that Aoi died, and she was innocent in all of that.

It looks like the next case is the result of Ameku giving bad medical advice. This is one arc that both Oowashi and Junko could play a role in along with Takao's sister, so I am intrigued.

You know the excuses #NoRead gang will justify mediocre animation :lolbron:

Why did it have to be Sakamoto Days to get this treatment :mjcry:

Now I know how Blue Lock manga brehs felt about last season. (Animation isn't as bad, but y'all know my point.)

I had never heard of this anime or manga

Watched two episodes :scust: they made all of their fans hyping it up look crazy

At least blue lock gave nikkas a clean season 1 to buy in first, then the story itself carried season 2

The worst part is the manga got some of the most well drawn and creative action for any weekly manga. Then you get this.

Compared to this. The anime lacks any impact. There are few decent cuts, but that's it.

The only silver lining from what I have seen is that the pacing is fine. As long as they don't start JCC Transfer Exams Arc before Part 2 of S1 ends. If this gets the World Trigger situation where S1 and S2 difference is night and day. The adaptation can at least be redeemed but I ain't getting my hopes too high for that :francis:

So right now the big thing is Kenzaburo can't switch between fire and water. But either his wife or daughter can. At first, I thought the challenge would be how to use fire and water at the same time. Currently, he doesn't seem to have the option to select them respectively.

I love how the daughter was watching a misunderstanding go in Kenzaburo's favor. Of course, karma came back and his plan to get the prince and Anna closer together didn't work as he hopped. Though I love him complaining, where is the main character's energy from Anna.

Also Kenzaburo is a real one :pachaha:

@twan83 DanMachi came and fukking popped off :damn: :whew:

Man Ryu fukking popped off here man and it was beautiful to see. To also see Alise alongside her in spirit just nailed the scene perfectly. The ending of this episode had me shook like damn I was not expecting that.

Kind of interesting that Hedin is loyal to Freya, but he is so differently. The rest of the family are following Freya's orders, which is the typical sense of loyalty. For Hedin though I think he picked up on what Freya really wants. He has my respects for it. Though curious how the aftermath of all this goes.It is fascinating how the Loki Family ends up helping out. Showing everyone in the tavern that Syr wants their help. That gives them to push to get Mia to help and her assistance, as we learn, is huge. Hermes getting Astraea involved was big too.

It looks like the tide is finally turning against the Freya family. Although wasn't expecting Ryu to confess right then. Still, at least this leaves her with no regrets.

So, basically, Shisui might be the perfect friend for Maomao. She has a very similar passion for it like we can see Maomao when she is experimenting.

So the two blondes are cousins. First impressions for me that Alya thinks she is a hotshot and Aylin is the other more quiet. She seems more aware of the situation. Thinking back to the discussion Gaoshun had with Maomao it makes me guess that Aylin is the one covering for Alya. Regardless, Jinshi's performance was executed flawlessly.

We got a bit of recap of S1 stuff. The most notable was the stuff regarding Suirei because what really happened to her. As Maomao heads to the clinic, she is impressed with the older women. Although the more concerning news is that only can be male, and only they can make medicine. Didn't take long for suspicions to rise for Maomao. Makes me wonder why Jinshi didn't mention this sooner.

Thank lawd I waited for the anime of Sakamoto days because the series is just a fun comedy/SOL/action show and I have no idea "what I'm missing" in terms of fights :heh:

I was :laff: at Lu smashing a bottle at the dude that came into the shop instead of being upset that the Boiled fight was basically non existent.
